Summer is quietly winding down. The stores are bringing out decorations covered in pumpkins and leaves are letting us know that sweater weather and pumpkin spice latte season is right around the corner. As the rhythm of fall sets in, here are some fun events in Downtown Rochester to add to the beat.

September 7-9 - Art and Apples Festival

A fall favorite of our family! Wander through Rochester Park during this event and you will see many different wonderful artists’ work. Colorful booths line the walkway all throughout the park. Savor the smells of yummy snacks that fill the air.

September 28-29 - Rochester Mills Oktoberfest

“Herzlich Willkommen” (Welcome in German) Come on out for a German-themed night full of music, food, drinks and lots of kid activities including pony rides, a petting zoo and lots of games. Fun for all!

October 4 - Rochester Posed

Stroll around town to see different storefront windows themed with live mannequins.   This is always a must-see event! Keep watch for the theme to be revealed.

October 20 - Trick-or-treat Downtown & Movies in the Moonlight

 A day full of fun; a costume parade, trick-or-treat around town, explore at the firehouse. End the day with a Halloween themed movie in the moonlight.

The Farmers Market will run through October and on October 27, littles can trick-or-treat in the market as well!
