Troy is located in Oakland County, about 25 miles north of Detroit. It neighbors Rochester Hills to the north, Sterling Heights to the east, and Royal Oak to the south. Troy has a vibrant shopping and business district.
Most children who live here attend Troy Community schools, but the area is serviced by several award-winning districts.
